This is a repaint of the excellent Virtavia B-29 to represent 44-27297 a B-29A-36-MO 'Bockscar' a Silverplate B-29A of the 509th Composite Group, Tinian, August 1945. This was the aircraft that dropped the second atomic bomb on Nagasaki on August 9th 1945, effectively ending WWII. Currently housed in the National Museum of the USAF at Wright-Paterson AFB, Ohio.
