Bolton Paul Defiant

There are many wonderful aircraft for CFS3. Including some quite obscure ones!

A big gap to me is the lack of a Bolton Paul Defiant. I had heard someone was working on one. Anyone know if one is in the pipeline?

I should'nt really ask as I cannot model anything. I make an Airfix model and it looks like it impacted the ground from 18,000 feet !!:engel016:

Sure is Wildflower, I'm in the early stages of texturing the cockpit, once that is done, and a few loose ends are tied up, it will be released!

I'll show some shots tomorrow night, it's a bit past my bed time now!:mixedsmi:

Hey Bravo/4! Thanks for the skins, BTW don't work too hard, even the guys in the WW2 paint department took some hours off to rest!

Clive's going to wet himself. :monkies:

It's going to be really interesting to see how the FM behaves when you're in the turret!

That really is great news!! Thanks in advance.

It was past my bedtime when I started the post. Just finished a ten hour shift at 2am, got in, dog threw up!! (I have that effect on most women) so a glass of wine and a read of the forum before bed!

You're supposed to be working on something of mine! Darn just too much to do and not enough of us to go around.:isadizzy:

Here's a few pics as I promised. As you can see, the pit is in the early stages of being textured, all externals are done and ready to go in various schemes!
This started life as one of Greg Law's models, he did a great job of most of it, but we had to rope a few trusted guys in to finish the modelling, (mainly pit work), so a very big thanks to Steve Seybolt, Clive Morley and of coarse Ted kanuka!:applause:

Don't know the ETA on it, I do have other things on the go, but wont be too long now!

Hat's off to you guys who dedicate the time and very meticulous work! Thats a fine looking aircraft and that will bring us hours of enjoyment!

LOL Ted, don't worry, I am!
I'm a pretty good juggler now! :jump:

Is that what you call it now John, juggling!?! That sure didn't look like juggling in that last pic you sent me,lol That must be a new term for a controlled landing (or should I say crashing) on a deck of a carrier!?!:bump:

You should crash 'em on land like I do, then you don't have to swim!!:icon_lol:

Nice work on that new Defiant too!

LOL thanks for reminding me Scott, actually I never got off the deck, that's even more embarrassing!!:173go1:

Thanks for all the coments guys, I've done more on it tonight, a lot of detailled stuff, I'll show some new shots when I have a bit more done to it!

Ted, your crate is pencilled in for Wednesday night! LOL

Lovely work, and intimidatingly detailed modelling! Good to see Mathias isn't the only splitter of polys! :applause::applause::applause:

Nice to see the pit with some textures in at last John, great work! She's finally coming to life. :) :ernae:

Btw what's up with your ground textures? you have trees out-of line with the terrain?

Don't worry about my ground textures Clive, it's not ETO, it's my test install of CFS3, it's had all sorts of hacks done to it, and there's all sorts of stuff in there, it's become a bit of a monster, that has broken it's leash! I'm not sure, it's probably a version of Johns scenery, the Dover cliffs are there? Bottom line, I don't really know, this install is years old? :icon_lol:

Funny, I remember that just before my computer crash a couple of years ago where I lost everything we were discussing the need for a Defiant.
Now, one of the first thing I find when I finaly get back on to this site is this discussion:bump:

Nice to see the work thats been done.
