well, i had company coming over,
so i didn't want to start a long flight.
just for the halibut,
i decided to go out on a test flight
following the to WABB course.
i figured i could quit as soon as company arrived.
i joined the multi-player session
on the SOH Server for no apparent reason.
along the way...zing,
another Boston shot past me.
WHAT THE....
it was DangerousDave!
he wasn't in a Boston,
but that's what my game showed.
very cool.
he asked if i was heading for CV-3
or just going to fly over.
fortunately, i had installed it earlier today,
so i tuned to 109.5 and in a few minutes, got the signal.
i decided, what the heck,
and dropped down for a low pass
and then a little touch and go.
then i climbed and continued on for WABB,
worrying about fuel for way too long.
about 80 miles out of WABB, company arrived,
but, me, being the rude *** that i am,
decided to finish the flight.
wife came down to tell me they were here
and i said, i'll be up in a few minutes.
i finished out the flight
and when i went upstairs.
huh, there was no one there,
except for a half empty bowl of guacamole,
a beer and 4 laps left in the nationwide race.
i am most likely in deep doo doo,
but for now, life is good.
i guess i'll wait until early am tomorrow
to make the official duenna flight to WABB.
i know there won't be company at 02:00
