Boston sports fans are nuts...

"Sweet Caroline" is a great song. Especially when the whole bar is singing it before last call :ernae:. How could you not love:

Hands, touching hands, reaching out

Touching me, touching you

Oh, sweet Caroline
"Pom, pom, pom" (sic)

Good times never seem so good

I've been inclined to believe it never would

And it may have nothing to do with Boston directly but Neil Diamond got his inspiration for the song from Caroline Kennedy, JFK's daughter, and they're from Massachusetts so in a round about way it has to do with Boston...in a loose, far reaching, sort of way.:isadizzy:

When I saw the name 'Sweet Caroline' the first song that jumped into my head was Status Quo's song of the same name. It took me a while to realize you were talking about Neil Diamond's version and I couldn't work out why US baseball fans would singing a Quo song. :icon_lol:
