Now several months into P3DV5 and the simulation environment. It is clear that the rucus of the past 12 months is starting to have a quite negative impact on a lot of the sim world. From what I can see the following folk are doing well by themselves and their users (customers) and sim enthusiasts as far as P3D is concerned, so bouquets to:

LM
ORBX
Aeroplane Heaven
Aeroplane Heaven/Just Flight
A2A
Aerosoft
Coolsky/F1
Flight Replicas

and of course - Dino, Manfred Jahn, MIlton Schupe, Dave Garwood, Mr Richardson, AF Scrub (JBK or Piglet, George Diemer) and lots and lots others who did excellent work to start during the FSX era with so their models went painlessly into P3DV4-5 etc or did great paints (J Kees, Jeansy, and again numerous others [too many to mention]}

and Brickbats or Darwin Awards to:

PMDG
Milviz
Carenado

None of whom have managed to upgrade anything that works properly for P3DV5 nor it seems are likely to and who it appears do not give a stuff about their customers or simply no longer know what to do about any of it
.
MS for once again busting a great business for their own and delivering a flawed and troublesome system.

My personal biased opinion - its P3D or X-Plane from here on in. So into the new year we go! Its going to be a roller coaster!

Great post!
I personally have no interest in jumping ship from P3D back to MS.
I am thoroughly enjoying the latest from LM.

Definitely agree that some developers have dropped the ball when it comes to upgrading their 4.5 products to 5 and beyond.
All we can do is keep supporting the good ones with our hard earned dollars!

Cheers!
