and will probably be available 'soon'.:typing:

Boxted, Station 150. Boxted was the home base of the 56th Fighter Group, nicknamed ‘The Wolfpack’. The Group was equipped with P-47s (Thunderbolts). This Group, one of the most famous Fighter groups of the Eighth, moved to England in December 1942 to January 1943 and was assigned to the Eighth Airforce. It entered combat with a fighter sweep in the area of St Omer on 13 April 1943 and during the next two years destroyed more enemy aircraft in combat than any other fighter group of the Eighth Air Force.

If you want to start from inside a T2 hangar and see the doors go open in front of you, choose parking 51 or parking 52 to start from. Only one side of the hangar will open. :karate:

Have fun!

PS: now I can get on with Chelveston!

AI for Boxted

Hi, Cees!

Thanks a lot for your Boxted.
Great to have a nice homebase for my 62nd FS Jug 'LM-S' (David Schilling's).
Tried get the AI going. In your readme, you state
download and install the FS2004 Republic P-47M-1 base package, made by Tom Kohler aka Gnoopy . The file is named P47M_90.zip, available at
www.Sim-Outhouse.com . You’ll also need the More liveries from Zemke’s Wolfpack package. The file is named P47M_61st-FS.zip and also available at
www.Sim-Outhouse.com
Are the file names correct? Couldn't find them...
Will Gnoopey's base packV 2.3 (p47m_923.zip) and additional textures (addon texture pack; 56th Figher Group "Zemkes Wolfpack" Vol.2, "p47m_924.zip") also work?

Groetjes,
Markus.

Hee Markus,

I use these names: (this is from the aircraft txt file)

AC#1,275,"P-47M-1-RE #10"
AC#2,275,"P-47M-1-RE #8"
AC#3,275,"P-47M-1-RE #12"
AC#4,275,"P-47M-1-RE #6"
These are the one Tom (Gnoopy) uses in version 2, the latest version here at the OH.

There is another traffic file in my first version of Boxted. I can attach that one as a txt file? You'll have to change the extension back to bgl then.

I'm sorry Cees (and Markus),

the v2.3 stuff (that Markus mentioned above) is only available from avsim, flightsim and simviaton. Was too lazy back then to troubleshoot my uploading 'blues' to SOH. Only my fault of course. In the addon livery file 'p47m_924.zip", that Markus has mentioned, there's another AI bgl file which might also work with your latest Boxted. Cannot test this myself at the moment ... guess Markus, you're the one to try this and report back ;)

Aahhhhh - that works!

Changing the aircraft titles to the ones mentioned by Cees makes the rest of the gang come alive!
Amazing! :applause:

Thanks, Cees, for your prompt response!

I guess the airfiles of the AI-assigned planes have to be changed to "P-47M-1_AI.air"?

Btw:
My "Hairless Joe" LM-S is about to be finshed. Still some fiddling neccessary. Just a question of days...

Cheers,
Markus.
