I was about to do a mission of Bomber Command attacking Brest on the 4th April 1941. when the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau were there. In order to place them in the harbour, I did a fly over and saw the shipyard was on dry land and the sub base in the middle of the harbour or bay.
Is this just my install? Does anyone have properly positioned harbour facilities? In fact I don't see a harbour there in the gal anyway.I shall have to check some photos as well for that I suppose.

Hi Mongoose, not sure if this helps but there was a set of Brest missions from way way back and that needed a 46th scenery pack to model Brest from memory.

Thanks mate. I'm not sure how my TOW install didn't have that as originally I thought I had thew ETO gsl. Anyway I changed to a large shipyard and no problem. Now I have to ass Scharnhorst and Geneisenau!
 
So an immediate issue. Although the facility port_shipyard_large_fs shows 3 ships in dock in the game, I don't see any in the facility file. So the ships are part of the pier and drydock buildings. What I need are those without them, but I'm not sure how that will work. I will convert a BoB Tilbury!

There is a mission in ETO with Swordfish attacking Scharnhorst and her sister ship at Brest and I think one is placed at a dock.Prinz Eugen may be there too.

I'll check that for just what the docks look like. Meanwhile repuposed Tilbury docks and taking some time to place them correctly. Have all 3 battle cruisers in them OK.
 
Well for the time being I have made this adjustment for Brest, having slightly moved the sub pens and brought the 'new' harbour next to the with Eugen, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau all at dock. I will have to change some iytems in the Tilbury Docks rework, but this will do for night time bombing in any case. A bit quick and dirty and maybe later I or someone else might improve on the whole Brest scenario.

Just testing out an attack, from the West/sea, to see the positioning of defenses, as the map has the harbour etc., well inland.:dizzy: After testing, there will be a mission for 4th April 1941, and a corresponding LW Intruder mission by NJG2 which shot down a returning Wellington at RAF Marnham.
