Brilliant and Amazing FSX!

Ok, so normally I don't go about making a post like this... but I realized something just a few minutes ago. I was attempting to remove some of my old software from FSX that I don't use. I only leave the best of the best on my copy of FSX, so I tend to be fairly picky and try to remove as much as possible.

Well, this is where the trouble began. I just realized that there is nothing that I am willing to part with at this moment!

Some stats I found amazing....

- FSX takes up 63.0+ GB on my hard drive
- Over 148,000 files!
- I have 198 main folders in simobjects/airplanes!

Sadly, every plane I have has passed my quality test and either I haven't had time to learn properly or just haven't had the time to fly. Almost every time I take a flight in FSX, I fly a new aircraft in a new place I haven't flown in before!

FSX is wonderful, and the developers have certainly kept it absolutely amazing. The quality of addons is certainly reaching new levels with every single release! These are happy times indeed.
 
Got me beat, 63 gb but only 141,000 files. I agree with you that the quality of the add ons has gotten much better with every release of FS. Lionhearts Epic LT is one of my favorites, as is the B-25 Yellow Rose from Roy Chaffin, and of course the soon to be released (it has to be I am getting older) super constellation for aeroplaneheaven, are you listening Bazzar?
 
FsX takes 23 Gb currently, but I'm on a relatively fresh install.
Fs9 takes up a total of 55.9 Gb of which a total of 40.5 Gb can be attributed to Fs Global and the NL2000 scenery..

So that's 79 Gb of diskspace just for the flightsims.. :d

I've a 750gb drive dedicated to FSX......with my Megascenery on one of my 64gb SSD drives. Overkill?:redf::costumes:
