Does anyone listen to these things?

The TED conference is a event in which the worlds brightest and most innovative minds are given a platform to present their ideas and thoughts. There is some fantastic stuff on the site. Here are a couple of my personal favourites.

In this video Ken Robinson gives an absolutely outstanding talk on how schools kill creativity on children. He's quintissentially British and absolutely hilarious;

In the second video, James Randi attacks homeopathic medicines and people who communicate with spirits, during a very funny and thought provoking presentation;

I can't embed them, it's no compatible.

Thanks for providing those links. I thoroughly enjoyed both and it certainly made me think...which is the point after all!

I must check out the main website now to see if there are more gems hiding there.

The TED talks are pretty dang cool. I have watched Burt Rutan on these amoung others. I believe even Steve Jobs was on here.

Some amazing subject matter and creative genius.

Thanks for sharing.

I love these and Burt Rutan's speech was one of my favorite speeches ever.
