Hi all,

I've been working on a model of the Britannia for some months, and this afternoon I uploaded it to Avsim. It includes the short-body srs. 102 and the long-body srs. 310. Colour schemes for BOAC (102 and 312), CPA, Cubana, British Eagle, BKS, Britannia Airways and an RAF C1. Separate downloads for FS2004 and FSX. They are up at Avsim now!

Best regards
Jens

Thank you Jens, been looking a Cubana Britannia for FS2004 and FSX. Now I can check that off my Cubana list.

Another 'Missing Link' found!
:applause:
Many thanks Jens, this will fit my 'FS9-1960s' installation nicely!!!!

Thanks Jens!!!:jump::jump::jump:

You have done brilliant Planes, the only i,m wishing is a Vickers Viscount with a VC.
Have we a Change for it?????

Out of curiousity where would I find brtsnd? I have looked in Avsim and All nodes..... And it comes up blank.

I would be interested to hear it and where the author got it from

as to the best of my knowledge there is only ONE proteus capable of running

in an airframe left in the world.

Leif

By the way Jens splendid effort

Can you cut two cargo doors in the 300s? a standard Bristol door and the 120 inch ATEL door?

Thanks Jens,

Only problem is I still can't download from AVSIM. Will it be available here or at Flightsim?

Thanks again for your wonderful work.

It's there... if you search FlightSim for britsnd.zip (also, it looks like you may have misspelled it in the search) it has to be in the "File name" not the "Text" search.. that and/or a "Text" search for "Proteus" both bring up this--

and Planes-11 it's up at FlightSim along with the Felixstowe

Ahh I thought it was Fraser's file -- Its NOT a Proteus - its a modified Tyne sound file. and unfortunatly if you
have spent anytime around Brits, its not even close. hate to be a killjoy and all....

Garry Russell has a Britannia in development (presently on hold because of illness) and the biggest problem has been
sourcing an authentic sound file -- short of going to Kemble and seeing if they would kindly fire up the Britannia
all that is left are Pathe film clips that dont do it justice.

Leif

So is the britsnd sound better than the included default sounds as an interim measure pending the possible production of a more authentic sound?
