Name this aircraft please.

In June 1940 as the Nazis were working toward the final collapse of France, Churchhill flew to Paris 5 times in this aircraft to encourage to French to change course.

Just curious what aircraft this is, and if it has been modeled and if available somewhere.

It's a de Havilland DH95 "Flamingo" To the best of my knowledge it hasn't been done yet for FS. Dare we hope Mr Shupe??

Methinks you're right. It sure looks like the one in this photo in the Wikipedia article.

It was DH's first all metal plane. Not especially successful, built in small numbers but crashed in relatively large ones (three out of BOAC's eight crashed) it entered service in 1939 and was extinct by 1952. It's got an interesting look about it. I'd like to have a model of it.

Not a DC-5. That was generally similar, but single fin and rudder rather like the Boston, and I doubt whether any made it to England. No, it's a Flamingo.
