Bryce Barker, Jr. is a former classmate of mine and a little known songwriter.

We were best buddies in HS and Bryce played baseball. But many thought Bryce to be borderline retarded due to the fact he could not read nor write well.

Well the last laugh was in his teachers, just turned out Bryce saw words in a differential vein, he saw then as poetry, as songs, and he is one of the top Bluegrass songwriters out there now.

Here's one fo Bryce's songs, Last Train To Kittyhawk, done by the Bluegrass group Balsam Range

Hey All,

I listen to a lot of Bluegrass and I've never heard of this band. They are great and that is a well done song/video!

I'll just post one that always enjoyed - acapello - the Steep Canyon Rangers with Steve Martin.

They also do a fun song called "Feelin Just a Little Like Dale" that you may know.
