Anybody got a fix for this?

I've been watching the series "Dust Up" on History Television here in Canada and have become a big fan of Ag Pilots and their aircraft. I especially like the angular lines of the Cessna C-188 AgWagon/AgTruck series and the only version for FS2004 is J.R. Lucariny's freeware offering, but the Aircraft CFG seems to be a tad off. Here's a listing of the Contact Points (assuming that's where the problem lies):

What I'd really like is a lead on a good payware version of the AgWagon if anyone knows of one available. As nice as the external model is on this aircraft is it lacks a VC and I'm willing to pay for a well-modeled aircraft with a decent VC.

I think in the real world the AgWagon would make one sporty, single-seat private aircraft without all the agricultural accoutrements!

I don't have this plane, but the number highlighted in red is the distance the TW extends below the CL of the aircraft. The most likely issue is the next number which is the verticle impact velocity which the TW will sucessfully absorb on landing. Unfortunatly FS will often take these impacts in a cumulative manner and will break even with a very good landing. Increasing the number to say 2000-2500 may help. An insufficent range of motion can be an issue as well.

I downloaded the plane and took a look at it in ACM. First things I noticed were the main wheels....the virtual wheel were a lot smaller than the visual wheels. Then I saw that the plane had a static height that was about 3 feet above the ground and that the static pitch was off by a few degrees. I got all that dialed in, enlarged the front wheels and made the landing gear about twice as strong....this is an AG plane and is built to take some hard use. The new contact points section has ended the 3 foot drop to the ground when the plane loads and will let you have a less than stellar (meaning really rough bouncy landing) without busting the landing gear.

Oh forgot to mention this: If you like the shape and angles of the Cessna 188, you need to head over to FLightsim.com and dig up Brian Gladden's series of Air Tractor 801s. There's an ag sprayer, a wheeled fire bomber and an amphib fire bomber. They have a look very similar to the C-188 but they have a VC...simply by today's standard, but fully usable.

Also, there is a Grumman AgCat out there somewhere......a beautifully rendered radial powered crop duster. It may be on Flightsim.com as well. G164A.zip by [SIZE=-1]Marcel du Plessis.[/SIZE]

Here in the SOH library, in the Warbirds Archive, there is a Stearman crop duster. I can't remember who did it...but I do remember it is freaking NICE! Found it....it's by Richard Sanderson. And it is in the Warbirds Archive under his name.

Sorry for the OT...but speaking of 188s, does anyone know if the Cerasim Cessna 188AG is still available for purchase anywhere? This thread jogged my memory of that model. From the screenshots, I recall it being a decent-looking model...but it doesn't seem to be available for sale on any of the typical FS sites. I emailed Cerasim directly a few months ago but never heard back.

Thanks everybody; your suggestions worked very nicely. I've got the Air Tractor, AgCat, and Rob Sanderson's Stearman - which I particularly like - as well as a Piper Pawnee, but the Agwagon's my fave so far. The lean, angular fuselage, upswept wings with downturned tips, those honkin', big struts, fixed gear and the Cessna 180/185 tail just grow on me.
