Burning Blue's freeware Fowlmere EGMA

Some advice to those who also use Burning Blue's Old Warden EGTH. Make sure you have the latest version of Old Warden ( v1.0.2 ), as the original triggers some sort of conflict with Fowlmere i.e. four giant human figures standing around the main hangar. There is also another odd aspect to Fowlmere in that the windsock doesn't appear without another Burning Blue airfield being active. I'm trying to pin down which one by switching them off and on with Addons Linker, but it would appear to be shared objects library issue. Very strange, as each airfield should be a 'stand alone' product, freeware or not.

When I would build an airport for FSX/P3D, I would sometimes use homes or hangars from other previous airports I'd done. If I didn't copy those objects and their textures into the current texture and scenery folders it would cause what you mention in your post. That is if the scenery I borrowed those objects from were not active.

You are right, each airport should be a standalone product however it is possible to have the "odd aspect" you mention.

I just had that too. This might sound odd, but try pressing the Windows key on your keyboard a couple of times. I think that sorted it out for me, but can't be certain. Some of them disappear, then the rest go after the second key press.

The windsock issue seems to have sorted itself out following a re-install of Fowlmere. The only thing I'm currently bothered about is the military fuel tanker - somewhat incongruous for sleepy little Fowlmere, and very unlike Burning Blue.
 
Glad you got it sorted. Have you flown that Waco over to Old Warden yet ? That's another BB scenery well worth getting. ;)

NZA released Wanaka and it's very good.
Now BB have slashed 30% off airfields, I am obliged to load up Old Warden as well.
Where to find the time.
