Butcher Bird at Duxford

Anybody else been to Duxford Flying Legends this year? the Butcher Bird display was phenomenal!! Perhaps because it's a new build and not original like nearly all other warbirds, it's not so restricted in terms of its areobatics. But it came off the grass like a jet fighter into a steep climb and was thrown all over the sky by a very able stick jockey whose name escapes me. Here it's on a fast run left to right down RWY 24. My aerial photo skills are very limited I'm afraid...!

The rest of the show was exceptionally good as well under mixed but clearing skies. The Horsemen P-51 close aerobatic team and the replica WWI birds were also outstanding.

Not 'arf!

Nice pics gents.

And when was the last time you saw two Fw190s together on a flight line...:jump:

Great day, cheers
