Hello Community

All the new C-117 and DC-3 Beta shots are great-->STUNNING

Still start of that all was Boeing 247

Would anybody of you fellow repainters dare to do the community (& myself :jump:) a BIG favour and make a repaint of the old JBK (Jens) B-247 D in polished factory delivery aluminium.??

( a new cloth for an elder girl?)

FS2004/FSX Boeing 247. The Boeing 247 was a trendsetter in the early 1930's. It was the first airliner to have an all-metal, stressed-skin, low-drag airframe and a retractable landing gear. Even when the bigger and better DC-2s and DC-3s arrived, the 247's continued to give excellent service over the next 20 years. Flight dynamics by FSAviator. Version 2.0 with more variants including Roscoe Turners 1934 England-Australia racer. By Jens B. Kristensen.

Would look like that

Thanks

Roland

PS:A better virtual cockpit exture would be a ringer too

I had a very quick look Roland. The model support "reflections" so it is possible to make an "shiny"aluminium repaint. The model does not support bump and spec maps.

Currently I don't have the time to make a paintkit/repaint for this model. But when nobody has picked this up in a few weeks, I might five it a try.

Cheers,
Huub

That would be great Huub

I flew today the National C-117* to GCAT where 2 247 are AI visitors-->They looked seriously poor

Thanks

Roland

*Work for manfred on the start up effect as the exhast tubes are not symetrical on the engine

Roland,

In my archives I couldn't find a single drawing with information for panel-lines and rivets. Perhaps you can already do some research on this for me :icon_lol:

Cheer,
Huub
