C-47 v3 problems

First of all, congratulations to all involved for an absolutely stunning package.
It's without doubt the best freeware aircraft ever made for FSX.
However, I am having some major issues with it which may or not be specific to my PC.
I've flown the aircraft on six occasions but only two of them have been trouble-free.
Typically, I will get about 5 minutes into a flight before the dreaded blue screen of death shuts everything down with a message saying "Driver IRQL not less or equal" or "Page Fault in non paged area."
When I go to the event log it says "Kernel Power critical, event 41, task category 63.
As someone who is not very computer literate this means nothing to me, but from a quick check on Google it seems the blue screen of death could be caused by all sorts of things beyond my comprehension.
This problem only manifests itself with the C-47 v3 - all my other aircraft work perfectly in FSX, including the C-47 v2.
Systems specs are Win 7 ultimate 64-bit, Intel i7 3.06GHz, 6.00 GB ram, AMD Radeon R7 370 4GB.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
