C-97 spin off thread

Has anybody done any long range flying for several hours in manfreds (awesome) C-97? I was flying from KSUU (Travis AFB) to PHNL (Honolulu) last night. Expected duration about 10 hours. I was flying in real time and had the sim crash mid way. Sort of like an OOM error. Never ever had that with FSX before (good luck there.) I tried it twice with this airplane and had the same event after 3 hours or so in real time.

Is there some sort of mem leak in this bird? Having said that, I also have Tacpack and FStramp running in the background. I run windowed mode with FStramp.

I just did a flight this morning Portland to Hawaii with no problems. About 10 hours total time. But I have just started migration to FSX steam edition. So the install is pretty clean and I am not running anything else.
