    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

C117 Skytrooper Garmin setup - navigating

I was trying out the navigation system in the C117 Skytrooper ala VOR. When I set the AP (Yellow circle) to on the plane banked to the right. I had is set in the correction
direction from a map view and I wanted to test the AP and when actuated and it will change course. I wanted to flw to vor 108.6. So as best as I could or know how
I set up the black boxed to fly to that location. I alt button was working - I had it set to 2500 and the plane had decended to that level then for some reason clomber to
over 8500. I reset it to 2500 and hit the ALT and nothing happened. They array in the Red square on the Garmin I set it for 108.6 - I even got the morse - You can
see the Distance in the DME display. I thought this equipment was supposed to fly you there. Glad I had a map to verify the actual direction.
