It's what I would consider a good start. With no mods to the interior, you'll have to rely on keyboard shortcuts to operate the gear and water rudders, and you still hear wheels rolling on ground when you're taxiing on water.

Externally, she's a real beauty, with several liveries available, including weathered bare metal.

Very nice indeed:

just had my first flight in it. It handles very nicely on the water. It spawned at the Bush League Legends PZ07 Deadman Bay seaplane dock in the water, cold n dark, with the wheels up. Perfect.
Startup and taxi was nominal even without water rudders (could not find the lever if there is one and didn't look up the KB command) - Takeoff was better than expected, flight with the floats added seemed not be different from
the standard LG configuration but that's not a showstopper.
Landing with the gear extended at PAKH Akhiok (unmodded MSFS stock runway) in a 10kt steady 90deg crosswind was interesting but the airplane handled just fine - and I could tell myself the added drift was due to the floats giving the wind
more area to push against..lol
Nice work on this mod by Bagolu - Terrific to have a slightly larger floatplane now..more is better

Just gave it a short trial; it's a keeper!:jump:

Flies nicely, land equally nicely. Bare metal livery I like. Dangling ropes, nice touch.

Only minus; can't transfer from water to land. I don't know if the reverse is...

Now, a Beaver or an Otter? Please:applause:

N.B.- Yep, Ctrl+w (I don't know if it is case-sensitive, I would think not) for floater's rudder. Turning left or right on the ground or on water can be done on rudder only, differential braking only needed in tight situation.

Beaching has been an issue since day one, starting with the Icon. You can roll off into the water, but once you're wet with the gear up, the sim won't let you extend the gear to go back. The only way to get back onto land is from the air.

I've flown the Icon 5 a couple of time and noticed that, but one can hope.:engel016:

And I did "beach" the plane, but after that it was stuck for good. Using slew mode only get me a black screen with a collision message.

Just tried going from land to water at Ford Island. Even worst than water to land; you go boom as soon as the wheels touch water. And rough sea makes it dicey... but fun!

It looks like your gear was still up when you beached it. If so, that's why you had so much trouble getting back in the water.

If your gear is down while still in contact with water, you simply go boom:pop4:. The reverse is not true; I landed on a dirt runway with my wheels up. It was a rough and short landing, but a landing nevertheless. That's why you can go from water to land. Getting of land to return to water is another ball game altogether.

P.S.- Just tested - the wheels do not go down in water. If you try to "roll off" the beach

.

Try turning off crash detection. When I roll off into the water, the plane does all sorts of bouncing and dancing, but it settles in after a couple of seconds.

Turning off crash detection, you can roll off to water and then come back in a three-legged 172. Just did it.

Fun to try, but I think we're missing the excitement of a dicey maneuver. Always fly with crash-enabled personally.

P.S.- On second thought, this could be an "occasional" method to roll of the ground or unstuck your floaters after a to deep landing, but only for this. A guilt-free maneuver.:engel016:
