• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

CAF Paint ???

CG_1976

Ret. US Coastie/RCAF
Two crits on this paint i found at flightsim.com

1. The colors are to darn bright for the 440Sq, See this coming in the arctic and there is going to be a crash. Plus the fuse flags are chopped.

2. Im not a midget in the VC. How do I fix it so I can see better?

3. Does anyone have the Red Vampire logo?

Adjusting the VC view is easy. Go to the aircraft.cfg file, open it using Notepad. Scroll down until you find the [Views] section.

[Views]
eyepoint= A, B, C

The position is from the models reference point...which is not always the center of gravity, but it is in most cases.

A moves the view point forward and back, positive numbers move the position forward of the reference point, negative numbers move the position backward of the reference point

B moves the view point side to side, positive numbers move the position to the right of the Ref. Point, negative numbers move the position to the left of the Ref. Point

C moves the view point up and down, positive moves it upward from the reference point, negative moves it down from the reference point

All directions are as if you are sitting in the cockpit looking forward (toward the nose of the plane).
