Calclassics Convair issues

Hello,

I have had the CC CV-240 for a long time in FSX. Looks great. I imported a three-prop texture (can't recall, I think it was borrowed from Manfred's Connstellations, can't recall) - and that gets rid of the nasty prop disk effect so common in FS9 portovers. Looks like so:

Works great for other 3-blade prop Calclassic planes such as the C-46, and the DC-6, incidentally.

I decided today to install the CC CV-440, since I found a nice Hellwig (AKA Wild Bill from here) repaint. I installed the plane ok, replaced, the prop disk texture as I've done before ... and yet I still get that nasty disk.

What gives? Here's the texture in question ..., if anyone wants to try it ...

thanks so much,

Hi,

are you sure that you have replaced the prop texture? :)

The prop texture in your second picture is the one that came with the repaint and not the one from the attached zip file.

Greetings
Tim

Sigh .... yes ... it's fine. One too many cut / pastes ...
