just want to say that only 4 of the 6 P38s showed up...but what a show...the airshow folks shut down the blasting ( irritating ) music and just let us hear the allisons, and the crowd was absolutly silent...at one point you could only hear a single child crying and then it was muffled...thousands of spectators absolutly silent...not even the moment of silence for the 9/11 thing was that quiet.....it was awesome

the pic with all the women in front of Ruff stuff..they are all the female pilots who did either aerobatics or were military pilots at the show and notice the woman in pink with no arms...for the life of me i cant think of her name..but she has been in the news about the fact she flys with her feet....very cool....got her autograph...she signed with her teeth....View attachment 18471View attachment 18472View attachment 18473View attachment 18474

im such an idiot sometimes...i didnt get her autograph..she was autographing stuff and signing with her teeth/mouth....hope that makes more sense..they charged an extra 5 bucks on top of the 15 bucks to get into the airshow to get in and see the P38s..but there were also many ex-P38 pilots there and while we were in the little reception area a man in a wheelchair was rolled in and he was a world war two PTO pilot..didnt get his name..but he was one of some 20 i think they said that were there from all over the country
