Call for Chalk's repaints

As you all know Milton Shupe made a great Mallard but only one Chalk's repaint was included as we all know the airline synonymous with the Mallard was Chalk's

the one livery Chalk's livery I've been looking for the most is the final livery but the only i can find that was made by wellis doesn't work

manecas was making some Chalk's liveries but he told me in a PM that he lost them

I call on someone here who makes repaints to make more's Chalk's liveries including the final livery

also I'm just wondering how come Grumman made only 59 Mallards if they had made more Chalk's would still be flying today

What do you mean, they don't "show up right?"

If they don't show up at all, your problem might be with your Aircraft.cfg file. To check that, you need to see if something's wrong with the User Interface sections of the cfg file. First, make sure the entry in the texture= line matches the name of the texture folder. If that isn't it, compare the new sections with old ones for paints that do show up. If anything is different besides the title=, texture= and ui_variation= lines (and maybe the atc_whatever lines if present) then there's your problem. Make sure everything's the same except the parts that are unique to that skin.

If there are no errors in the aircraft.cfg file and the skin still doesn't show up, maybe the skins aren't for the same model. You can verify that (or not) by comparing the files in the new texture folder against one that works. There should be the same number of texture files and they should have the same file names. If they aren't the same, then your new textures are for a different model.

If they show up, but don't look like they should, it could be that the skins were meant for an earlier or later version of the model, one that uses the same texture files names but has some differences in how the textures are laid out and mapped. That might happen if you have a beta version of the model and the skins are for the final version, or vise versa.

Another possibility might be that you're trying to use FSX textures in FS9, but I think that would crash the sim when you tried to load the skin.

If it's something simple, like silver parts looking gray, you may not have reflections enabled.

That's everything I can think of. Good luck!

also here's another thing those repaints are for the Turbo Mallard i'm looking for one for the classic and modern Mallard

This is what i mean by the texture not showing up right

Looks like you grabbed an FSX version of that paint scheme. You are missing the common texture folder textures.

Here's the FS9 equivalent with all textures, and of the proper size.

thanks but where's the readme plus i have a question who made this and how come there is only one yoke when it normally has two yokes

i used the texture from the fs9 folder from the paint scheme folder (the paint scheme in the picture) I'll include a link for which one i used
