Campaign under Windows 7

Have installed CFS3 on my new system with widows 32 bit
When I start a new campaign on my vanilla CFS3, CFS3 shuts down to desktop while loading the new campaign

It is not a big deal, because when I restart CFS3 I can continue the new engaged campaign and it continues working (can progress and save after first mission), but I would like to solve the problem before I install ETO so I'm sure there will be no issues in that install (in which I will fly the most)

installed ETO 1.2 and there the problem does not exist
But there I'm stuck in attack in the west somehow, but see my other thread about that

:kilroy:Waco Jaco, forget what I said in the other thread about Vista.

When is the campaign crashing? Exactly?

Make sure you have the ETO Spawn Selctor set properly before you start or play any campaign. It's geared for the campaigns.:d

the campaign works fine in ETO (for the attack in the west that is)

only in my unmodified CFS3 version it crashes to desktop when I initiate a new pilot, when I restart CFS3 I can continue the new campaign as if it never had any problem

for the moment I'm gonna check out the user account control where is spoken of in the installation guide, if I can find that in my dutch version (and remember, I'm a newby on W7)

UAC is user account control :icon_lol: in windows 7 (learned something new as I upgraded from XP)

I turned it off as the installation guide says and, ... everything works

thanks

:icon29: or for those with a different taste :guinness:
