• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

I know there is a Caribou in the making but just windowed if the AlphaSim Caribou can converted to FSX native ( making sure the old gauges and textures work ) . It would be nice and I'm sure very popular until a new P3D compatible version comes along .

There is a new Caribou being worked on, but I don't remember who is doing it. I want to say Tanker Guy, but don't hold me to it. ;)
 
Last post 6 months ago and it appears that it will be for P3D if it makes it to maturity.
Updating the Alpha Caribou could be tricky without getting permission from the original author.

Kieran and me are still at it, designing the C-7a Caribou. Progress is slow though, since we are both part time devs.

I still work on the cockpit (around 60% done), and Kieran is around 90% done with the externals, I guess. However, I think the long dev time will be worth it :)

Probably not a good idea to ask about things like this since it is still a commercial product. It is what it is until something better comes along.

Hi,

there's some "mission creep" in the project. Real life interrupted the work on both ends, and additionally I need a new computer because my present one has performance problems running complex 3d and pbr design stuff.
But it is not forgotten.

There MIGHT be some news I can share with folks soon whislt we wait patiently for Tailored Radials release!Very much looking forward to that as we need an awesome updated version of the 'Bou in our sims!
