Can "Canada" be a attacking Nation?

I have found an older CFS3 mission where Canada is the attacker.

I believe the original set up in CFS3 was that Britain and USA were the only attackers on the Allied Side and Germany on the Axis side.

Well, judging by the Canadian contribution to the Empire war effort, yes! Canada was the only other country to have their very own beach on D-Day, start with that.

Having said that, the problem is that CFS3 treats each country (on the Allied side) separately, while in fact the effort was collective. So from that point of view, all Allied forces should be fused rather than divided into GB, USA, Canada and so forth. But then you'd end up with other silly situations...
