Considering that Johnson, Martin and Gordon finished 1-2-3 in the points last year and Johnson is riding a crest of four consecutive championships, the last month or so has been well below par for the Hendrick organization.

Yeah, best car and drive train package of last year, which was the COT with the wing. Since going back to the spoiler, Hendrick, especially the 48 team, can't seem to get everything to work together and bring it to the front of the pack.
