well i thought there was a newer one then that one..but i dl';d it and installed it..some gauges arent there...(i hate when that happens)..lol...but i like it..going to change the sound because it sounds like a cessna to me....lol....thanks for the link

That is the newest and best Helldiver there is for FS9 - perhaps you were thinking of the MAAM-SIM TBM/TBF Turkey? That is newer, nicer, more expensive, and similar enough that I get them confused in my head sometimes :redf: ! (Double embarassing since I beta-tested the MAAM-SIM bird...:redf:!)

I had forgotten about Wolfi's nice aircraft (Helldiver, Nell, Peashooter)...so this thread was a good one to come across. I have downloaded the three planes, have the Helldiver and P-26 installed. Have put together a sound pack for the Helldiver based on Lawdog's A-20 package and am working on a dedicated Pratt and Whitney R-1340 sound pack upon which to base a dedicated P-26 sound pack. I have the Texan sound pack by Doug Smith (Fnerg I think is his user name here) and Farmboy...but Texans, even though they had the R-1340, had a distinct sound due to the prop gearing. So, I am taking the stock Vega sound files, running them through a couple wav editors, enhancing them, and will upload the finished sound packs tomorrow or the day after (depends on how fast I get them done and tested).

Will go ahead and upload the Helldiver sound pack later tonight (actually, later this morning since it is now 2:23 am here in Ohio).
