Can not get to field in QC or campaign

I have just started getting a problem with getting to the field in QC and campaign.

I click on "Go to Field"

Contact! (Engine start) photo of pilots...then back to QC settings screen with music.

Or to screen with clock in campaign.

tried restarting the PC- same problem.

Immediatley previous to the problem, I had adjusted the screen resolution to 1024x768 my hpv72 crt's max.

And adjusted flight model to realistic.

try:

Go to Workshop in the OFF manager menu, click on CFS3Config wait a moment until it says "CFS3 has been configured" in the window.

Click on File, Default, and reset to default.

Then click on File, Custom, OK, and then set the sliders low to start :

Aircraft 5
Effects 5
Terrain 2
Scenery 2
Clouds 1

as a starting point.

If you changed your max res, and it broke, it suggests something is wrong with that setting- make sure you have your monitors actual driver installed (not generic plug and play for a start)>
 
Thanks and monitor question

Many thanks Pol, that seems to have done the trick.

I am currently running two PC's (Gamer, and internet "hack") through one monitor, so I guess I will need to load monitor drivers on both PC's. Is this correct ?
 
Also I was presented with two kill claim forms after QC, but I did not fill them in, as there were no other comrades around to witness them so I left them blank. I understand that patch 1.25, which I have installed, addresses issues concerning claims, and wonderd if there was a connection.
