• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Can Someone Explain This To Me?

Alright, I got the PAOB Fokker 60 today and I was on their site looking around for skins and what not. Well, I found the paint kit page and as I was looking for the d/l link I find that the kit is payware and I can have it for an additional $$. What is that all about? I'm not one to deny anyone their fare share but as far as I know most publishers make paint kits as part of the download or free to customers on their website. This is the first time I have seen a payware paint kit. Are they serious? way to get interest in your product, restrict repaints to non-existence and nick your customers for some more cash. The closest thing to this I have seen in the past was when LZ forbade anyone from repainting their helos but they would do it for you, after you discussed price with them. Pity, I now know that I will not buy another PAOB product because of this, I don't need a Photo Shop paint kit that badly.
