Canada's UFO

My buddy has the week off and told me he was driving up to Moonbeam (Ontario) to get a picture of himself and the ufo.
Didn't know we had one.
I had been up to Cochrane a couple times around 1980 (Moonbeam is about an hours drive farther, so probably a 10 hour drive or so from Hamilton).
Never heard mention of it, turns out ufo was created as a tourist attraction in 1991.
Looks like a nice little area, but would be like Cochrane - blackflies would eat you alive in summer and you would freeze in winter.
I was brought up on a farm, but been a city dweller for over 40 years and happy with the conveniences that brings.
I googled restaurants for Moonbeam, found one real restaurant and the other was an eatery/bowling lane operation.
Think I have been spoiled, but I don't mind, must be dozens of restaurants, sub joints, pizza places within a 20 minute walk from me.
Who likes to cook in the hot summer?
This is one citified farm boy that ain't going back.
