Cannot find the newest Me 109 Replica Add ons

where can I find exactly the new Me 109 Replica Add ons?

There were one week ago in the FS 2004 List !

Not sure if you are looking for the plane itself, or the repaints. The Flight Replicas Bf-109 series can be found at www.flight-replicas.com and the repaints are by Steve B (Stalin) and are here in the SOH library. Just search "Steve B" in the library, he has a lot of excellent work for the Flight Replicas Bf-109's as well as other models.

EDIT... I just did a keyword search on "steveb" as well as "stalin" in the FS2004 Skins section and I didn't get a result either... probably ought to notify an admin here.

I got it bookmarked ;¬)

If you find one download by an author, underneath their name somewhere on the right there is a magnifying glass, this will find all downloads by the same author, I have a favourites/bookmark folder with shortcuts to all my fav authors. Saves muchos time.

Do you have licensed copy(s) of Flight Replicas payware Bf-109-F, Bf-109-G models? The paints recently posted in the library for the Bf-109, by SteveB are exclusive to those models.

I don't think the Sky Unlimited Bf-109-G and the Flight Replicas Bf-109-G are the same model. Sorry mate. I know Sky Unlimited did a Bf-109-F and it wasn't the same model as the Flight Replicas Bf-109-F. The Flight Replicas Bf-109-G series can be had from: www.flight-replicas.com That's the best bet for the Bf-109-G repaints posted here in the library by Steve B. Huub Vink also did some excellent repaints for the Flight Replicas Bf-109-F model. They are here in the SOH library as well.

They are the same model. Sky unlimited sold the model before flight replica's had there own website.

Steve's repaints are textures only, so I guess you would say these would be alternative aircraft with different skins. Have you ever installed a repaint before? If so, these are installed same as any others you may have done. If not, say so and someone will be along shortly to help you figure out how to do it.

They are in no sense 'stand-alone'. You must have the original model(s)/panel/sounds installed for these skins to be of use to you.
Think of them as an alternative set of clothing.

Ok then.. I stand corrected. :173go1: LOL!

I could not get a texture set designed for the FR Bf-109F to work on the SU Bf-109F... but I DID NOT know Sky Unlimited had done a Bf-109-G, and then sold the model to (whomever, Flight Replicas?). I thought they were one in the same at one point... which is why I originally tried the texture set for the FR 109-F on the SU 109-F. Not the same as the "G" I reckon.:isadizzy:

There is a SU Bf-109F available as freeware now (formerly payware) which is not the same as the FR model. So I guess it might be possible that there are two different SU Bf-109Fs out there, SU's own and the FR model as sold by SU.

you are correct, Jesse Lambert (Cerberus, what ever happened to him?) & Co. (Sky Unlimited) did their Frederick first, a nice model and Multi-LOD, making it a decent AI option. Mike Cyuls' (Flight Replicas) first model was the 262 and followed by the 109, both were originally sold from Sky Unlimited web site. (They are still there along with the newer FR models.)
