can't install patch 1.02

attempted to run patch but got these error messages:
"Setup can not find your OFF installation.
This patch can not be installed"
and:
"Runtime Error (at 24:454)
Patch install canceled. OFF installation not found"
The initial install and patch went okay (it is not on the root drive) and it has been running fine.


Computer:
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Professional
OS Service Pack Service Pack 3
Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11

Motherboard:
CPU Type Intel Pentium 4HT, 3079 MHz (3.5 x 880)
Motherboard Name Asus P4C800-E Deluxe (5 PCI, 1 AGP Pro, 1 WiFi, 4 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)
Motherboard Chipset Intel Canterwood i875P
System Memory 2048 MB (DDR SDRAM)

Display:
Video Adapter Radeon X1650 Series (Omega 3.8.442) (512 MB)

Monitor Plug and Play Monitor [NoDB] (LAV0C0514013)

Multimedia:
Audio Adapter Creative SB X-Fi [NoDB]
 
It means a setting in your registry has gone Awol.

Best to uninstall OFF P3 - go start control panel add and remove programs..... and reinstall from DVD then add Update 1.2 (includes 1.1)

Reinstalled & applied patch.Now I'm flying and dieing. Yea!

:wave:WM: If I do and I hope won't have to do a reinstall. Patch 1.1 is not needed. Just reinstall from DVD then add Update 1.2. Correct? Just maken sure.
