... to those south of the Canadian border, ever hear of Murdoch Mysteries?
Last couple months been wrapped up in watching these, surprisingly good in my opinion, most Canadian shows are less than expected than in international venues.
Saw a couple on YouTube, been following them (at least the > 45 minutes).
Maybe you'll like them.
One of these days maybe I'll go back to the smaller ones (posted before channel change in pieces and they were dropped and picked up on another channel) and try to watch segments in order.

im canada bread , live in hamilton ontario canada , the series is ok , a bit cheesey imho , but ok , there is also artic air .....i think

Flashpoint, one the best cop shows ever, and Due South another great show in my opinion. Both were Canadian and they were excellent! What I tend to find interesting is what passes for good in the states and what tends to be really good gets cancelled before its given a chance to flourish.. Take today for instance, Southland got the axe, CSI New York and so did Vegas.. But yet, we get another season of Honey Boo, Survivor, How I Met Your Mother, Once Upon A Time, and the list goes on... Its just sad!

I'm old enough to remember The Beachcombers, with Bruno Gerussi. I also used to watch Elwy Yost's Magic Shadows religiously when I was a boy. If the atmospherics were right, I could get it on channel 19 on UHF.

Anne of Green Gables was quite good IMO.
