Capt. Sim's C-130 Question...

....Do any of you'll have the "Air America" repaint for this airplane? If you do would you send me a p.m. I would like to have a copy of just the texture file for the rear section including the rudder. I'm trying to get the metal paint scheme that comes with the "A" model to look like what the aircraft assigned to the 815th TCS looked like when I was assigned as a loadmaster back in 1965. The rudder did not have all that red paint on it. The only thing on the vertical stabilizer was the tail number in fairly small letters.

Anyway I can use MS paint to get rid of the Air America logo. It's not the "best" way to do things but, it does give a fairly reasonable paint job and is the limits of my repainting ability.

BTW...I've tried to download this repaint through my Capt Sim account. When I get to the download function, that little circle just keeps a going and a going without anything ever happening.

Thanks but, that's the site that I've already tried. All that happens when I click on "download," is it goes to mediafire.com and just runs and runs and runs without ever starting the download.

Looks like I'm stuck with....

....a RED tail on my A model as my painting attempts really suck.(Probably because I don't know diddly squat about repainting. ) I've quit counting the times I've tried to download Nathan Phillips Air America version. On one attempt, I waited for 5 minutes while the little circle kept going around before I gave up one more time.:isadizzy:

A Big Thank You...

...to Sieggie for helping me with my repaint request. Thanks to him I now have an A model with a "bare tail." Just like the ones I flew on back in the late 60s while assigned to the 815th TCS.
