Carenado 206 cabin lights?

Does anyone here have the Carenado C206 and know how to turn on the instrument lights without also turning on the cabin lights?
It's driving me a bit crazy. I've read the whole manual and flipped every switch, and I can't figure it out. There are two knobs under the yoke that say instrument panel lights, and when I click one or the other, the instrument lights come on and then the cabin lights follow.
Any idea if it's even possible?
Any help is much appreciated.

You could backslash the VC light out in the aircraft config otherwise I think you are stuck with it. Haven't tried this myself as I don't have an issue with the cabin lights but I will test it out and let you know.

[lights]
Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 3, -2.97, -18.05, 3.45, fx_navredcarenstat
light.1 = 3, -2.97, 18.05, 3.45, fx_navgrecarenstat
//light.2 = 4, -3.27, 0, 2.05, fx_vclightcarenstat
light.3 = 1, -21.1, 0, 7.5, fx_beaconcarenstat
light.4 = 2, -3.2, -18.11, 3.45, fx_strobecarenstat
light.5 = 2, -3.2, 18.11, 3.45, fx_strobecarenstat
light.6 = 3, -20.99, 0, 1.98, fx_navwhicarenstat

Didn't work out so well seems the radio lights are tied in with the landing lights so if the VC light isn't on you have to fly around with the landing light on all the time to see the radios. My goofy cousin must have helped wire this plane blow the horn and the headlights and turn signals flash. Never buy a car from that guy.

That is some pretty screwy wiring.

Ah, well. Thanks for the effort. I'll probably take your suggestion as I'd rather fly around with the landing lights on all the time than the cabin lights. For me, they kind of kill the mood of night flying.

Thanks again. :ernae:
