Carenado 408 Sky Courier

I'd assume the answer is no, since the 408 was done under contract to Asobo/Microsoft, so it's probably exclusive to FS2024.

Plus, it's becoming increasingly clear that the "MSFS airplanes will work just fine in FS2024" statements were, shall we say, a bit too optimistic, so wouldn't be at all surprised if converting it to work in MSFS required way more work than it's worth.

Agree. While FS2020 aircraft may work in FS2024, I am sure the reverse is not true. I would bet good money that Carenado's contract with M$ stated the 408 had to be FS2024 native. Actually I was surprised how many new Carenado aircraft are included in FS2024.

I can't imagine anyone will do the 408 for FS2020 at this point.

2024 is a total mess, but MS will get it fixed up and I imagine most support will move to the new sim. The economics of doing a relatively pedestrian plane like the 408 for an older sim when it comes "free" in the current sim make zero sense.
