Carenado Cessna 340 Issues

I bought the Cessna 340 a little while ago, and after flying in IFR, I noticed a couple of issues with it. 1: In a crosswind, when crossing the ailerons and rudder, especially close to landing speed, the plane just flips over.
2: The approach hold won't follow an ILS glideslope. I have the the right frequency, the CDI is on NAV, not GPS, and I have NAV 1 selected on the DME. AM I missing something? Anyone else have these issues? Can I fix them?

I have got the APR autopilot function to work ok but you have to engage it only when the needle is close to the centreline of the localiser and you are below the glideslope. Even then it may not hold the localiser and glideslope 100%. It is an old type of autopilot so maybe it replicates the real thing? If you look in the AV SIM Carenado support forum, others have had similar issues and one or two have swapped-out the autopilot for a newer type.

Swapped for a new type? Do tell! Also it holds the localizer and centerline perfectly, just not the glideslope, even engaged below it

I just added the Bendix-King autopilot as a pop-up and it followed the glideslope quite well, although it was a bit slow to correct for the localiser for some reason. It's easy to add to your panel.cfg:

[Window05]
size_mm=156,48
position=8
window_size=0.2
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
visible=0
ident=AP

gauge00=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio AP, 0,0,156, 48

Otherwise have a look at the AVSim Carenado C340 forum:

Okay so I copied the configuration text from post 5, and pasted it into the panel config, but the AP doesn't show up in the sim :/

Did you remember also to add [Window05] to the list of pop up windows near the top of your panel.cfg?
