Another $50 Cessna? How about something different like a Piaggio or Hondajet? .........and lower the price to what you used to charge, I cannot afford you lately no matter how much I want it.

Bob

They had to raise the price on their Citation, 'cause Textron's lawyers caught up with 'em! Seriously. :pop4:

Yeah, I'd always hoped for a G2 or G3, but we'll never see those either. My dad captained Northrop's G2 for quite a few years before his retirement. It's a sentimental favorite...

IMHO, this ridiculous, vacuous legal arm twisting is taking things a wee bit too far. It's a fricking sim.....

I've got the new Citation 550, and to be honest I'll probably cowboy up for the CJ2 as well. I held off on the 550, but fell in love with it immediately.

I will definitely be looking forward to the Hawker though.

:icon_eek: What are u saying, Bill?

It's not complicated. They will have to pay Textron Corp. for a license. This involves a fixed sum quarterly, a percentage of sales, and a liability insurance policy, just as Eaglesoft Development Group has been forced to do for the past three years.

They did paid the licenses? :icon_eek: I had no idea.
Win money and don't pay licenses is the complicated part :biggrin-new:

All the alternatives suggested are good. And it is perhaps also a good idea to consider Falcon X family - a Dassault's three engine bizjet that uses Mirage fbw technology combined with the latest avionics. Of course Carenado shouldnavoid using 'Dassault' brand as we know that Rollus Rafale was a bit troublesome in this respect. That could the best bizjet ever for fsx

Thank you for the links. Dassault is really strict in this respect. I dont think a complaining simmer would be able ruin their market segment in case there are some inaccuracies between RW counterpart and the sim. Today, I asked Eclipse Aerospace to provide me images of their Eclipse 550 for an article. They repeatedly made sure that the images must solely be used for the article only, the creative designer even sent me a EULA to be signed before subsequently a link of images was sent to my email. I wonder, if this is how they respnd to a "free publication" in a magazine read by 7000 people, cant imagine if a dev wants to depict their 550,into a desktop sim.

Anyway, OOT aside, Eclipse 550 is a revolutionary aircraft since it created a new paradigm in business aviation and creates the "very light jet" category. Carenado did it with Phenom 100, I really hope they come up with Eclipse ones. Btw, The Wilco is pretty neat in exterior but the VV could have been a bit better
