• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Old news ?.... Well, maybe, but no mention of it here in the P3Dv4 forum yet and over at the FSX forum it didn't even make it to a sticky and it certainly deserves that !

Must say i'm slightly biased because i have always loved this turboprop commuter for its looks and have made an atempt to create a model of it myself many years ago of which i still have fond memories. IMHO the Carenado rendition is a true work of art, atleast when it comes to the modeling and textures, inside and out. Very well done indeed! In how far the flight dynamics and system modeling are realistic i seriously feel not authorised to judge because of obvious reasons and only took her up once around the field, which, btw, was a complete joy.

Ok, i feel now i've done my duty for this beauty. :encouragement:

Btw, anyone having trouble selecting the right sim because of a flickering selection window ?....

​I love the SAAB-340. flown many trip with REX to different parts of NSW for weekends away when I was a member of the working class.

indeed, OZx seems to be offline for the moment. Not sure what is happening, let's hope they fix things before I leave for Oz later this week.

That is true. I also cannot get on to FS Airlines and Classic British Flightsim since yesterday. I like the S340 flown in it from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
