Carenado T-34 - return of an old friend

Hi guys, I saw during Carenado's holiday sale that they had a P3D capable version of their T-34 mentor for sale for 6 bucks. This was one of my favorite FSX airplanes. Back the day, I did a number of repaints as well as some modifications of the panels etc. I was able to put all that back in place now in P3D. :)

One thing I would like to find out is how to add some night lighting to the cockpit. I have no idea how to do that. Is this possible to do on a 3rd party basis? I have migrated a lot of gauges to the FSX C-172 default gauges as updated cockpit instrumentation.

Crickets...

I guess nobody knows how to add night lighting to the cockpit of this bird?

Help a brother out!

Kinda wish I'd picked that one up in the sale last week. Looks nice in those schemes.
I took a couple photos of an overall yellow one at the Flying Leathernecks museum here at MCAS Miramar last week.
Fading in the sun so not nearly as eye catching as those.

Do you want lighting to the instruments or just lighting to the cockpit?

If you have the Alphasim/Virtavia T-34C you might try the VC lighting coords and effects file from that.

[lights]
...
light.6 = 10, 0.51, 0, 1, fx_ALPHA_T34C_vclight
light.7 = 10, -3.69, 0, 1, fx_ALPHA_T34C_vclight
Hope this helps.

Hi and thanks.

I only have the T-34A and B from Carenado. I got to fly in one when I was in college. :)

I will check out the vclights I have available. Thanks for the clue.

I would like to have the instruments light up. In fact, I used a lot of replacement instruments from the default FSX C-172, which I still enjoy flying. :)
