Thinking about picking this one up. The only other payware GA I have is the FSD Cessna 337. How is Carendo to deal with? How is their Bonanza with older computers?

In order:

1. Fantastic. Never had a problem. Much easier than some other companies, FSD for example.

2. I've had the Bonanza for a while through three upgrades, and never had an issue. Lovely plane, lovely cockpit (both VC and 2D)

The V-35 isnt a hog on resources so i am sure you will be fine Willy, and i have allways found them to be top notch to deal with.Satisfied with all purchases from them over the years and good support.

I don't have the Bonanza, but lots of other GA aircraft from Carenado and they have been great in all my dealings with them.
All if their airplanes I have are modeled quite nicely, sounds are often recorded from the actual airplane in question and all of the ones I have are easy on frame rates.

Cheers
Stefan

Willy,
I've never had any issue's with dealing with them either.
I have a handful of their aircraft I've got over the years - including the Bonanza - and I've never had any problems.. Actually the one I like the most from their collection is their T-34 !!!!!!!

Willy,

I have to concur with Bill, (WND), and the rest. I've never had any problems with Carenado Co., nor their aircraft. I have about 3/4 of their offerings, and never a problem. My favorite is also the BeechT-34 Mentor. The V-Tail Bonanza is my second fav, tho'. :mixedsmi:

I agree: Carenado planes are fun to fly and generally well modelled, and the Bonanzas (both the V35 and the F33) are two of my favourites. The stock package comes with only one livery (Sky Blue and White) but there a number of attractive add-ons in the usual file libraries (flightsim.com and avsim). The only glitch I've discovered is a weird bug in the radio stack: if you scroll the Com frequencies backwards to 118.0 and keep scrolling backwards, the frequency goes into minus something or other and gets stuck there. There is a simple way of getting it unstuck - I leave that as an exercise for the reader :icon_eek: ! The flight model is generally good and it's easy to take off and fly, and will get you there a lot faster than a Cessna 182. On landing keep the speed up over 70 knots at full flap or you run into a nasty ground effect (similar to the one on the stock Cessna 182S) which slews you off the runway. It's also easy to get behind the curve when manoeuvring at low speed, just like the real thing I'm told, which had the nickname "V-tailed Doctor Killer" (presumably because only doctors could afford them). Both the 2D and 3D panels are excellent.
Carenado are good to deal with - they have a first rate support forum and respond quickly to queries and bug reports.

Thanks everyone! I've got a little extra money coming in and figured that I'd at least get another airplane with it.

I picked up the Bonanza today. Once I got registered with their website, the purchase was easy enough. Went over to FlightSim and downloaded a couple of repaints that I liked the look of as the one paint that comes with it, really didn't do much for me. Got it all installed and took it up for a spin this evening. It's a pretty nice plane that I hope to see a lot of use out of.

So far, I'm liking the turquoise and white paint about best.
