Carrier landings

In FSX one can land on a moving carrier and not trigger a landing in the duenna. It is possible to confirm this via the airspeed, groundspeed and altitude readings recorded.

Would be be possible to have a leg or two to require an intermediate carrier landing and confirm this.

Did a test just now with CV-10 and an F7F-3. Tried not checking the "auto-arm" check-box, thinking that might allow me to end the flight upon trapping, but it doesn't. The carrier is going too fast. I called up the AICarriers menu and selected "full stop", and that worked. Duenna registered that the flight was over. Probably not a good solution. It was pretty funny though. The ship went from 30 knots to zero in about 1.5 seconds! All loose gear was tossed about and there was several minor injuries, and one tow tractor went over the side. Ended up in the forward 40mm gun tub.

With AI carriers you can place the carrier at a desired location, such as at a waypoint etc. if near an regular airport a landing and takeoff could be made as part of a leg and can be identified by the lat long alt speed data.
Only works in FSX.
