Are there cars available for these periods that could be used in FSX, perhaps a library used in freeware scenery?

Yes there are, the file is VINTAGE_VEHICLES.BGL. I have it in my Easy Scenery file so I don't know for sure where it came from. The picture may give you a clue.

There's some vehicles by Wolfi for CFS2, in our own library that may work, there's also a vintage vehicles.bgl by John Stinstrom in both his own FS2004 Scenery--World War II Naval Air Stations zip and the Calclassic object library that maybe worth looking at, find both at Flightsim.
cheers ian

Terry beat me to it, those are the objects im on about :)

There is a collection of 1940's military vehicles in my Hobbs AAF scenery package available here in the library. Vehicles include Jeeps (covered, open and with trailers), covered and open trucks of several different designs, fuel bowsers and trailers, 'carry all' vehicles (like a staff car), ambulances and even a tracked aircraft tug with bomb trolleys.

Thanks guys, for all the answers! Off course I can use a very limited selection of vehicles as I'm building Dutch airfields, and so all the vehicles with stars and markings are out.

Any drivable? Yup, I know its a flight sim, but it will be great to have a vehicle to tour with.

Thanks, Cees, there are quite a few out there. I'm always on the lookout for interesting & different things to drive, sail, etc. I even have a train.
There is so much that can be done with the simulators & it is great that some guys are thinking differently to make our hobby so interesting.
I think that adding cars/vehicles & even boats into the sim lets us think about creating missions such as driving to a sea port/dock/coast then changing into a boat, sailing to a port or whatever, changing into an amphibian plane or a car & so on...

As I said, there are many creative guys out there & I really support them. If they make something interesting, that for me will be worthwhile, I will download it in support. Obviously, if it is decent, I will keep it. I still remember, a few years ago, some guy did Formula 1 motor racings cars & a track!
Yes, the sim is so much more than just flying.

Are there any static planes from the thirties for FSX?

Are there any static planes from the thirties for FSX? All I found was a DC3 with one nacelle removed.

Cees

Bill Lyons statics for GW3 should work ok, especially if you converted them to FsX using Arno's program.
