Casablanca carrier update now available

Version 3 of the WWII Casablanca class carriers are now available on SimV and FS-Shipyards. As before there are AI and pilotable versions of both the Gambier Bay (CVE-73) and Bougainville (CVE-100). For ease of use a configuration file for those who have AIcarriers is provided as well as a single scenery for CVE-73, and a save flight for the pilotable version CVE-73.

Improvements include many additions to the tower, a few sailors hanging around, and redesigned deck so the planks seem somewhat realistic in screenshots. A number of pieces have been optimized as well. Finally I produced better documentation.

Perhaps I am going crazy, but I enjoyed learning more about Gmax and FSX modeling to produce this update. Adding my first custom animation designed to mimic the idea of of the crash barriers from Flying Stations HMS Victorious. My version (arrestor cables raised as seen in WWII photos) is not as noticeable, but it was fun learning to do a skinned animation with a custom animation.

More improvements are planned including more variants, and if I can find a way, improved paints. However, work starts again in earnest on Monday, so I am releasing these now.

Congratulations.

To enjoy learning how to better use the tools of the trade is the sign of being a craftsman, not crazy. :salute:
