CDRuygenhoekGW3.zip - CD Ruygenhoek GW3

The auxiliary airfield Ruygenhoek (EHRH) was built during mobilization between the dunes north of Noordwijkerhout. It was the base of the 3e Verkenningsgroep from April 9, 1940. By providing the area with dark lines, it blended in with the surrounding pastures when seen from the air. Yet the location of the base was known to the Germans.
