Cera Sim UH-60

The Cera team sure did a nice model. I re-installed this one into v2.4 today. It's the best "out of the box" flier I've ever flown.
-I have the paint kit on my desktop, with enhancements planned as I work on a repaint or two.
Not sure what I'll put to canvas just yet.

Has anyone noticed any quirks?

Here's a quirk that's happened several times. No idea what's causing this.
Has anyone else had this happen? Makes no sense at all!! :dizzy:

Another quirk found. The GPS does not display when hitting Shift/2.
Also does not work from the panel.

The paintkit is a bugger!!
Wingin' it.

Have seen this recently within FSX, some addon plane xmls, etc. use an exact path name instead of ..\panel, etc.

My problem began with installing to my addon library I have added to FSX with appropriate fsx.cfg in Simobjects paths.
Some sound.wav files also reference other files within the default setup, at which point I give in and install to the default folder rather than change all the sound.cfg references.
Tracking it down might take some time in looking at files.
An FSX aircraft that has this type of file reference would presumably generate a similar message.
(think it was the Zlin Z142.)

Hope this helps you sort it out.

Thanks for the feedback, Paul. The info concerning the sound.ini is good to know. Although, I won't be messing with anything. I'll just deal with it.
-Considering the model wasn't intended for use in LM's sim, the UH60-L does real well aside from what I've mentioned. Since then I've been getting a little more stick time.

I found another "quirk." When in exterior view and then switching to the VC, once actually inside, all systems lose power and the helicopter spins out of control. Seconds later all systems are powered up again and it's a fight to get stabilized. Happens every time.

I'm not complaining mind you. It is what it is. It's still a fun model to tour around in. :)

Work on this one continues as I refine things to bring out more depth and realism. http://imgur.com/a/bvELt#0

I find myself spending more time searching for photos than getting anything done. I obviously am not looking in all the right places. :biggrin-new:

As on the R/W counterpart. Though I can not find the (Saudi? Africa?) registration data anywhere, due to the image I found was very small.
The artwork is fictional because of that. My pushing it aside has a lot to do with the above conditions.
