CFS 3 and i7 920

ARNY 84

Grumpy old man
Have any of you guys got CFS3 running smoothly on a i7 rig?
If so i'd love to here what setting your using.:banghead:

I've got several versions of cfs3 running on this setup:
Case: Antec 1200
PSU: 1000W Corsair
mobo: Gigabyte EX-58-UD5
CPU: Core i7 DO stepping 2.61 Ghz running at 4Ghz
Corsair H-50-1 CPU Watercooler
Ram: 6 gig Corsair 1600 mhz
Video: XFX ATI 5850
Soundcard: Creative X-FI Champion
HDD's: 1 x Intel X-25M 160 gb solid state drive
2 x Samsung F3 1 tb drives
Optical: 1 x Pioneer BDR
1 x Sony dvdrw
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

I run cfs3 stock version, PTO, ETO, CFS3 with BOB+Firepower ... no problems with sliders maxed out. The only thing I would like to do is end up with a Nvidia video card (when they come out with DX11 support) to get a better "shine" on the aircraft

Thanks guys for the replies. Good to here from ya grizz, i think my problem is in my sli set up, 3 x gtx 280's
Im going to try taking 1 out to see if that helps.

If it's any help I had sli gtx 7800's in my old rig and cfs3 ran fine ... as far as having the tripples, I wouldn't have a clue ... those cards a somewhat overkill though ... but saying that I'm waiting for the Nvidia DX11 compatible card ... I really miss the "shine" .....
