CFS 3 run problem

Hi Guys,
I have encountered a problem whereby every time I try to run CFS3 I get a notice " CFS did not shut down properly last time it was run would you like to view information on troubleshooting this problem?" Then the game shuts down.
Well the troubleshooting info does'nt help. I have removed the game from my computer,deleted all relevent files from the regiistry etc.and reloaded the game and I still get the message and shut down. Any ideas?

:isadizzy:Happens to me everynow and then, Just say no to information on troubleshooting this problem, Then the game will start:gameon: normal.

What exactly is happening,

Did the game crash to D/T while you were playing and you get this message, Or did this start with no apparent reason.

Any new programs installed recently that might be causing a conflict
while game is running, ( Anti Virus, Spy ware, Mal ware, etc )

This has happened to me on occasion due to a scheduled program starting
up while game is running

And like OLD TIGER said , when the message pops up i just click no and
the game will fire back up

Hi Ims Lightman,
No new programs have been recently installed and the game does not fire up when I click no!
This started some time ago following a game crash. Since then I have removed and reloaded the game several times.:icon29:
 
warspite new info for you but a refresher for the rest of the guys. continue to click no on the micro$oft load screen report. to find out what the problem is do the procdure below
Follow file path, C:\Documents and Settings\Owner(may be your name)\Applications Data\Micro Soft\ (NOTE:AT THIS POINT CREATE A DESK TOP ICON SHORTCUT) \Combat Flight Simulator 3.0 .
open the original game installed folder. there you will find the, "cfs3 debug log" this will tell you what is wrong in cfs3 language,not like the microsoft report. repair the item(s) that it lists.
 
I had the same problem, turns out that my System Mech Pro, anti virus was the problem, all I do now it put it to sleep for however long I want to fly and CFS3 runs just fine.

Hi Guys,
I thought you would like to know that my run problem was solved once I downloaded the the "no disc" patch although the problem was also solved by switching off my anti virus when using the disc.Thanks for the help.
